This piece was created as part of my first solo exhibition entitled 'GAANBONA' meaning Bright & Colourful in Taungurung language of the Eastern Kulin Nations.
Artwork Story
Yerram 'Morning Sunrise' captures the beauty and connection of Country as the first light of dawn graces across the landscape. The flowing river winds through the artwork, symbolising life and connection, while meeting places highlight the importance of gathering and community. The warm hues of orange, pink, and yellow reflect the soft glow of the sunrise over the land, bringing warmth and renewal.
